Sovereignty Herbs

For Companion Plants, I had the opportunity to design their branding, logos, and website. I worked closely with the client every other week to discuss the work I’ve done, gather feedback, and make adjustments to ensure the designs matched what they envisioned. My goal was to create an organic and inviting brand identity that reflected the values of Companion Plants. I focused on making sure the designs felt natural and approachable while also highlighting the idea of plants as companions to humans. I designed a website that was easy to navigate and visually appealing.

⬤ 01. Challenges

Challenges

The largest challenge I faced with this project was designing branding for Companion Plants that was consistent with Sovereignty Herbs existing branding while establishing its own distinct style. It was also essential to make sure the branding was consistent enough that it could be combined into Sovereignty Herbs if needed.

The main deliverables and goals of the project included creating a logo, color palette, fonts, design elements, and website mockups. Each element was made to reflect the  identity of Companion Plants but maintaining consistency with Sovereignty Herbs.

I looked at the existing branding for Sovereignty Herbs then created mood boards that complimented it while giving Companion Plants its own unique style.

This was a new type of project for me, but I worked with my client to create something that worked on its own but could also merge with Sovereignty Herbs in the future if needed.

Process

I started by working on the colors and typography, making sure they complemented Sovereignty Herbs but gave Companion Plants its own style. Once that was set, I moved on to the logo, focusing on creating something unique. Finally, I worked on a Shopify website to bring everything together and show how the branding would look in action.
