Bob Dylan Fan Club

The Bob Dylan Fan Club was in desperate need of a website update to keep up with their ever-growing members and fans. After many meetings and lots of discussion this was the result.

⬤ 01. Challenges

Branding Challenges

The largest challenge I faced with this project was creating a modernized improvement from the client’s old website while still keeping an older style.

The main deliverables and goals of the project included creating a complete website. Using inspiration from Bob Dylans cover art and overall style within his music that translates to the website.

We used a newspaper style format in order to display lots of text due to the fact the client did not have many images to display. While using a paper texture to make it feel like a real newspaper and a serif font to make it seem retro.

⬤ 02. Experience

The Newspaper

After reviewing multiple templates and style mockups, we settled on going with the newspaper route

It was nothing like I had taken on before, and it was a unique challenge for me and my client as well as we navigated something unique yet complimentary.

⬤ 03. Process

Fulfilling the mission for TBDFC

At the end of the semester long project, we were able to develop a near finalized website. One of the elements I enjoyed most was getting to make something for an artist that I am a fan of!
